Joejuan Williams: Cut by Minnesota
Williams was let go by the Vikings on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The 25-year-old spent the past four years with New England after being selected in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He appeared in 36 games for the Patriots and missed all of last season with a shoulder injury. Williams agreed to terms with the Vikings on April 17 before being cut Tuesday. He'll now be forced to look for a new team ahead of the coming season.

Vikings' Joejuan Williams: Resuming career in Minnesota
Williams (shoulder) signed with the Vikings on Monday, Lindsey Young of the team's official site reports.
Williams missed the entire 2022 season after having surgery on his shoulder, but he's healthy again and ready to resume his NFL career with a new team. The cornerback was drafted by the Patriots in the second round in 2019, but Williams was limited to a depth role in New England's secondary prior to the shoulder injury.

Vikings' Joejuan Williams: Heading to Minnesota
The Vikings signed Williams (shoulder) on Monday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Williams, a former second-round selection by the Patriots, was unable to carve out a consistent defensive role during his four-year stint in New England. The 6-foot-3 cornerback was also sidelined for the entirety of this most recent campaign due to a shoulder issue, and he's now slated to attempt to rejuvenate his NFL career with Minnesota.

Williams (shoulder) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
It was reported earlier Tuesday by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network that Williams had suffered the injury and would be out for the season, making his move to IR a formality. The 2019 second round selection has been a depth piece in the secondary for the Patriots, playing 12 games last season, recording 21 tackles and five passes defensed. With Malcolm Butler (undisclosed) also landing on IR today, there is new opportunity in the Patriots' secondary during camp.

Williams will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2022 campaign after suffering a shoulder injury, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
It's unclear when Williams suffered the injury, but it's believed to be serious enough to knock him out for the entire season. The 2019 second-round pick appeared in nine games for New England last year, recording five tackles and one pass breakup.
