As with the first pick, there wasn't much suspense when the Redskins went on the clock with the second-overall selection. As expected, Washington drafted former Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III, who will immediately be installed as the starter, even if he thinks he'll have to beat out Rex Grossman for the gig.

In the weeks leading up to the draft, an unnamed scout called RG3 "selfish," an assessment that wasn't enough to deter the Redskins from landing what they hope will be their franchise quarterback for the next decade.
