RB Trent Richardson and RT Mitchell Schwartz, both rookies, opened team drills with the first team. Coach Pat Shurmur deferred to veteran RB Montario Hardesty and RT Oniel Cousins last week, but Richardson and Schwartz are certain regular-season starters.
