TE Todd Heap is entering the final year of the two-year deal he signed last summer after Baltimore released him. With second-year TE Rob Housler pushing to become the team's main pass-catching TE, Heap knows it's an important season for him, but he said that's the case every year. “I thought I had a contract going into last year but obviously it was a contract year the year before that,” Heap said, referring to getting cut. "In the NFL, contract years are relative."
