DT Bannan on playing in the NFL: 'Nobody put a gun to my head'
This will be DT Justin Bannan's 11th season in the NFL, and though he's aware of how playing so many years in the game's trenches has taken a toll on others, he accepts it as part of the bargain. "Nobody put a gun to my head," he said. "I try not to think about it. Obviously my wife is worried." But he knows there may come a day when his perspective changes. "There's pros and cons to everything in life," he added. "Maybe when I'm 60 I'll go, 'Maybe I shouldn't have played all those years.'"
