  • Magic's Franz Wagner: Scores team-high 25 points in loss

Wagner finished with 25 points (10-22 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal in 40 minutes during Tuesday's 120-89 loss to the Celtics in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Although the Celtics halted Orlando's playoff run, Wagner put together an excellent series of performances. Over five games, Wagner averaged 25.8 points, 5.6 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals, capping his best season as a pro. Although an oblique injury forced him to miss several games in December and January, Wagner beat his previous seasonal averages with averages of 24.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.3 steals over 60 contests.

Wagner finished Sunday's 107-98 loss to Boston in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with 24 points (10-22 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds and seven assists in 40 minutes. Wagner did what he could to help his team during Game 4, as he filled up the stat sheet while dishing out a game-high seven assists. However, it wasn't enough to get the best of the defending NBA champions on Sunday, with Orlando now facing a 3-1 deficit as the series shifts back to Boston for Game 5.

  • Magic's Franz Wagner: Flirts with triple-double

Wagner finished with 32 points (11-27 FG, 3-13 3Pt, 7-12 FT), seven rebounds, eight assists and two steals across 38 minutes during Friday's 95-93 win over the Celtics in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Wagner led from the front, falling just short of a triple-double as the Magic edged out the Celtics to stay alive in the series. Despite having lost the first two games, Wagner has been arguably the most consistent player throughout the series, averaging 26.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.7 three-pointers.

Wagner finished Wednesday's 109-100 loss to the Celtics in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with 25 points (10-20 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, four assists and two steals in 40 minutes. Wagner has had a solid start to Orlando's first-round matchup with Boston, averaging 24.0 points, 4.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks in 38.0 minutes across the first two contests. However, Wagner has converted just two of his 13 three-point attempts as the Magic have dropped the first two games of the series.

Wagner wasn't able to connect on any of his five three-point attempts, but he still made an impact by grabbing a game-high 13 boards. The 2021 first-rounder had a strong end to the regular season, having averaged 23.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 0.9 steals over 33.3 minutes per game in his last 10 outings. Wagner (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Hawks, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports. Wagner is in jeopardy of missing a second straight game due to right knee soreness. • Magic's Franz Wagner: Leads in scoring in blowout win

Wagner ended with 23 points (9-17 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and two steals over 26 minutes in Wednesday's 96-76 win over Boston. Wagner did a little bit of everything for Orlando in Wednesday's blowout contest, leading all Magic players in scoring and rebounds while hauling in a team-high-tying steals total in a well-balanced performance. Wagner has surpassed the 20-point mark in 12 straight contests, adding eight or more boards in six of those outings.

  • Magic's Franz Wagner: Keeps scoring streak alive

Wagner provided 22 points (8-20 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals in 40 minutes during Tuesday's 119-112 win over the Hawks. Wagner didn't have his best shooting performance. However, he still found a way to reach the 20-point plateau, as he's been remarkably consistent on offense as Orlando's second-best weapon behind Paolo Banchero. Wagner has scored at least 20 points in each of his last 11 appearances, averaging 23.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 0.7 steals per game over that stretch.

  • Magic's Franz Wagner: Delivers 27-point performance

Wagner ended with 27 points (10-19 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal over 34 minutes in Thursday's 109-97 win over Washington. Though the Magic offense has struggled as a whole for much of the season, Wagner has been a model of consistency of late. Over his last 10 games, he's scored between 20 and 32 points while shooting 45.6 percent from the field and 92.9 percent from downtown. However, he's converted on just 25.8 percent of his 6.6 three-point attempts per game during that same span, bringing his season-long mark below 30 percent for the second straight season.

  • Magic's Franz Wagner: Logs game-high six assists in loss

Wagner supplied 21 points (8-19 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six assists, five rebounds and two steals in 40 minutes during Monday's 96-87 loss to the Clippers. Wagner finished as the club's second-leading scorer behind Paolo Banchero (26 points) during Monday's low-scoring affair. However, the two combined to shoot just 2-for-15 from beyond the arc. On the bright side, Wagner recorded 20-plus points for an eighth straight outing, and he also led the Magic with a game-high mark in assists. Additionally, the 23-year-old forward tallied multiple steals for the 22nd time in 56 regular-season appearances.

Wagner recorded game-high marks in points and assists Monday. The 23-year-old racked up at least 30 points for the 14th time on the season, and he also logged eight-plus assists for the sixth time. Wagner has reached the 20-plus-point mark in four of his last five appearances, during which he has averaged 22.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.4 assists across 34.0 minutes per contest.

  • Magic's Franz Wagner: Comes close to triple-double

Wagner ended Wednesday's 116-108 loss to the Rockets with 20 points (8-19 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds and seven assists in 38 minutes. The consistency Wagner shows on a game-to-game basis is nearly unmatched, and the star forward has been putting up a solid display over the last few weeks. He's surpassed the 15-point mark in each of his 14 appearances since the All-Star Game, but that's not all, as he's also averaging 5.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game over that stretch. Firmly entrenched as the Magic's second option on offense, Wagner remains a reliable fantasy alternative in all formats. Over that 14-game stretch, Wagner has also scored at least 20 points nine times.

  • Magic's Franz Wagner: Sniffs double-double

Wagner contributed 22 points (8-19 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal over 36 minutes during Sunday's 108-103 win over the Cavaliers. Wagner didn't have his best shooting performance and was particularly woeful from three-point range, but the star forward still delivered a well-rounded fantasy line while ending just two boards shy of a double-double. That said, his scoring numbers have been trending in the wrong direction a bit, and this was just the second time he's recorded at least 20 points in his last six outings. He's averaging 21.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.0 steals per game since the beginning of March.

  • Magic's Franz Wagner: Hit for 27 in New Orleans

Wagner had 27 points (11-17 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one steal in 35 minutes during Thursday's 113-93 victory over the Pelicans. After three straight games of scoring in the teens, Wagner was more efficient with his shot Thursday while still supplying his usual contributions in secondary categories. The fourth-year forward has scored 25 or more points six times in 11 games since the All-Star break, a stretch in which he's averaging 22.7 points, 5.3 boards, 4.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 threes.
