Blumel (undisclosed) was discharged from the hospital after Friday's AHL contest.
Blumel was stretchered off after falling into the board during a game with AHL Texas but fortunately, he's already been cleared. The severity of his injury is still unknown but he'll likely miss some time. Blumel has 19 goals and 42 points in 57 AHL games this season.
