Blumel was reassigned to AHL Texas on Sunday.
Blumel generated 19 goals and 44 points in 58 AHL contests last season. He also earned one goal, seven shots on net and seven hits in six outings with Dallas during the 2022-23 campaign. Blumel could end up spending most of this year at the minor-league level again.
