Buccaneers' Ryan Griffin: Elevated to practice squad

The Buccaneers elevated Griffin from their practice squad Saturday, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Griffin spent the entire regular season on Tampa Bay's practice squad, but he'll provide additional depth at quarterback behind Tom Brady in Sunday's divisional-round matchup against the Rams. Assuming Brady remains healthy, Griffin is unlikely to take the field.
