The Rangers outrighted Hill to Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday.
While no longer on the Rangers' 40-man roster, Hill will remain in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. The outfielder went 2-for-9 at the plate during his brief stint in the big leagues earlier this season.
