Romaro Gill: Deactivated by G League club
The G League's Raptors 905 deactivated Gill on Wednesday, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
Reggie Perry, whose 10-day contract with the Pacers expired Monday, rejoined the 905 on Wednesday. His return took the G League squad over the maximum rostered players, which resulted in Gill being the odd man out. Across 18 appearances with the 905, the 27-year-old averaged 3.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 14.7 minutes per game.

Romaro Gill: Cut by G League club
The G League's Raptors 905 waived Gill on Tuesday, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.
With the 905 roster at close to full strength after overcoming a wave of COVID-19-related absences, Gill wasn't deemed worthy of keeping around. The 7-foot-2 center appeared in 16 games for the 905 this season, averaging 3.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 14.2 minutes per contest.

Romaro Gill: Double-double off bench
Gill posted 17 points (8-11 FG, 1-1 FT), 15 rebounds, an assist, a steal and five blocks across 29 minutes in Tuesday's 118-108 loss to the College Park Skyhawks.
Gill had a monster game off the bench against College Park, leading his team in rebounds -- seven of which were offensive -- and blocks while scoring a season high in points. He's averaging just 16.1 minutes per game with 905 this season, but he might be in for a bigger role after Tuesday's performance.

Romaro Gill: Scores 12 off bench in defeat
Gill had 12 points (6-10 FG, 0-1 FT), six rebounds and a block across 26 minutes in Saturday's 134-106 loss to the Maine Celtics.
Gill was very solid in a slightly extended role on the court Saturday, making 60 percent of his shots but missing his lone free throw. He's averaging 2.9 points in 14.6 minutes per game for 905 this season.
