Nebraska, BYU and Dayton showed why just earning a chance to dance, even if it's as a double-digit seed, is so important to college hoops players.

Dayton and BYU had legitimate reasons to be worried about missing out on the tournament as both squads had dicey resumes. During CBS Sports Network's show to break down the bracket, Jon Rothstein went as far as calling BYU's selection a "miscarriage of justice."

With all that said, it's easy to see why Dayton and BYU went berserk when they heard their names called.

Entering Sunday, Nebraska was expected to make the NCAA Tournament. That didn't stop the Cornhuskers and 2,500 of their fans from celebrating the team's first bid since 1998.
