The 2022 NCAA Tournament bracket is out, and with it, a clear picture of the path each of the 68 qualifying teams has to take to win college basketball's biggest prize. But how did each of those teams stack up against others that shared their seed number?

The NCAA Men's Basketball Selection Committee uses an S-curve to seed teams. They do so to effort putting best No. 1 seed in the same bracket as the worst No. 2 seed, the best No. 3 seed, the worst No. 4 seed and so on. This, of course, is the ideal use of the S-curve. Neither the process nor the committee itself is perfect. Committee members also have to keep an eye on conference affiliations and even geographic concerns when slotting teams into the bracket.

The wait is over, brackets are here! Get back in your pools and join our Men's and Women's Challenges to play for a truck and a dream trip!

Here's a look at all 68 teams as they're seeded for the NCAA Tournament. Stay tuned to CBS Sports for complete coverage of March Madness throughout the men's and women's NCAA Tournaments.
