Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Rehabbing shoulder in offseason
Jarvis played with a shoulder injury during most of the season, Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal reports Friday.
Jarvis rehabbed his shoulder last offseason and will do the same this summer, but he will not require surgery. Jarvis had 32 goals and 35 assists over 73 regular-season games. He was outstanding during the playoffs with six goals and 10 assists in 15 games, tied for eighth in NHL scoring.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: One of each in Game 5 loss
Jarvis scored a goal on four shots, added an assist and logged four hits in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Panthers in Game 5.
Jarvis set up a Sebastian Aho goal in the first period and scored one of his own in the third, but it wasn't enough to save the Hurricanes' season. Despite the team's struggles in the Eastern Conference Finals, Jarvis was productive, earning two goals and four assists over five games versus the Panthers. The 23-year-old finished the postseason at 16 points, 36 shots on net, 51 hits and a plus-2 rating over 15 appearances. He's under contract for seven more years, and after a second straight 67-point regular season, Jarvis could elevate his offense over the 70-point mark in 2025-26.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Strikes on power play in loss
Jarvis scored a power-play goal, added two hits and went minus-2 in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Panthers in Game 3.
Jarvis avoided missing time after getting hurt in Game 2 on Thursday. The 23-year-old netted his fifth goal of the postseason, but it was scored after the Panthers had a five-goal rally in the third period. Jarvis is at 13 points (eight on the power play), 31 shots on net, 42 hits, 10 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 13 playoff contests.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Ready to play Saturday
Head coach Rod Brind'Amour said Friday that Jarvis (undisclosed) is fine and should be ready to play in Florida on Saturday for Game 3, Ryan Henkel of The Hockey News reports.
Jarvis left Thursday's game briefly in the third period, but he returned to action before the end of the contest. Jarvis has four goals and 12 points in 12 games during the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Status in question for Game 3
Jarvis (undisclosed) may be unavailable to play in Saturday's Game 3 versus the Panthers, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.
Jarvis had to leave Game 2 in the third period, but he was able to return even in a blowout loss. Nonetheless, it appears there's some question to his status leading into Saturday's contest. With the Hurricanes already down 2-0 in the series, they can't afford to be without one of their most important all-situations forwards. Considering he was able to finish Thursday's game, expect Jarvis to land on the more probable side of a game-time decision.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Two helpers in Tuesday's loss
Jarvis picked up two assists Tuesday, one on the power play, in the Hurricanes' 5-2 loss to the Panthers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
The 23-year-old helped set up tallies by Sebastian Aho in the first period and Jackson Blake in the third, but it wasn't enough as Carolina stumbled as a team to begin the series. Jarvis has gotten onto the scoresheet in five straight games, and through 11 playoff contests he's racked up four goals and 12 points, including one goal and six assists with the man advantage.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Tied for team lead in scoring
Jarvis had a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win over the Capitals on Thursday. The Hurricanes eliminated the Capitals with the victory.
Jarvis' goal went into an empty net to seal the series. He has 10 points, including six on the power play, and 26 shots in 10 games this postseason. And he's currently on a four-game, five-point scoring streak (two goals, three assists). Jarvis is tied with Sebastian Aho for the team lead in playoff scoring after finishing second to him in the regular season.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Two helpers in series-clinching win
Jarvis collected two power-play assists Tuesday in the Hurricanes' 5-4 double-overtime win over the Devils in Game 5 of their first-round series.
He had a hand in a pair of Sebastian Aho tallies, one that tied the game at 4-4 in the second period and the other the game-winner early in the second OT. Jarvis heads into the second round with a four-game point streak going, during which he's collected two goals and five points.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Points in three straight games
Jarvis banked a power-play assist and a plus-1 rating in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Devils in Game 4.
While Jarvis was held without a point in Game 1, the right-shot winger has gotten on the scoresheet in the ensuing three matchups. The 23-year-old was replaced on the top line Sunday by Andrei Svechnikov, as Jarvis is now skating alongside Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Taylor Hall on the second line. Jarvis still has his spot on the No. 1 power-play unit, so his production shouldn't take much of a hit, if any. The 2020 first-round selection has recorded two goals, three points, eight shots on net, 12 hits and an even plus-minus rating while averaging 21:03 of ice time over four postseason outings.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Strikes on power play
Jarvis scored a power-play goal, added two PIM and logged three hits in Friday's 3-2 double-overtime loss to the Devils in Game 3.
Jarvis has scored in back-to-back games. The 23-year-old winger is up to two goals, six shots on net, 10 hits, five blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over three playoff outings. He's filling a top-line role and also has a spot on the first power-play unit, so he should be able to sustain a high level of scoring throughout the Hurricanes' playoff run.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Deposits empty-netter
Jarvis scored an empty-net goal on three shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Devils in Game 2.
Jarvis put the final touches on the win, which saw the Hurricanes take care of business on home ice to establish a 2-0 series lead. The empty-netter was his first point of the series, but he's added five shots on net, seven hits and four blocked shots over two contests. Jarvis has quickly developed into a reliable two-way forward and should continue to see significant ice time throughout the postseason.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Ready for Game 1
Jarvis (rest) will play in Game 1 versus the Devils on Sunday, per Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.
After sitting out the final two games of the regular season for rest, Jarvis returned to the top line and first power-play combination during Saturday's practice. He generated 32 goals, 67 points, 204 shots on net and 93 hits in 73 appearances during the 2024-25 campaign.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Expected to miss season finale
Jarvis (rest) is slated to miss Thursday's game against Ottawa.
Jarvis was also out of the lineup for Wednesday's 4-2 loss to Montreal. He should be back for Game 1 of Carolina's first-round series against New Jersey on Sunday. The 23-year-old is set to finish the regular season with 32 goals and 67 points in 73 outings. That matches his career-high point total from 2023-24, though he accomplished that feat in 82 regular-season appearances last year.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Resting in penultimate game
Jarvis (rest) will not play Wednesday against the Canadiens.
With the Hurricanes locked into the second spot in the Metropolitan Division, Jarvis is one of several Hurricanes players who will take the regular season's penultimate game off ahead of the beginning of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Hurricanes play the second part of the back-to-back Thursday, so fantasy managers should be watching carefully for Carolina's lineup for the finale as well. If this is it for Jarvis, he finishes his regular season matching his career high of 67 points on 32 goals and 35 assists.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Three points against Blueshirts
Jarvis produced a goal and two assists in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Rangers.
He had a hand in each of Carolina's first three goals as the team jumped out to a 4-0 lead midway through the second period. Jarvis is building up significant momentum ahead of the playoffs -- the 23-year-old has five multi-point performances in the last eight games, amassing five goals and 12 points over that stretch. With three games left on the Hurricanes' regular-season schedule, Jarvis has some personal milestones in sight. He needs one more goal to tie the career-high 33 he scored last season, and four more points to reach 70 for the first time.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Tallies pair of points
Jarvis notched a goal and tallied an assist in Thursday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Capitals.
Jarvis was the only player for either team to have both a goal and an assist, which further helps cement his value as an emerging two-way forward in the league. He first assisted Jackson Blake's goal before netting the game-tying tally with under two minutes to play in regulation. Overall, Jarvis has 31 goals, 32 assists and 199 shots on net in 71 appearances this season. While he will likely finish the regular season shy of a point-per-game, he's been above that pace down the stretch with 17 points in his last 16 outings. Jarvis holds great value in all fantasy formats for the remainder of 2024-25 and beyond with Carolina.

Jarvis logged an assist and seven shots on goal in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Red Wings.
Jarvis has three goals and six assists during his six-game point streak. He set up a Jackson Blake tally as the Hurricanes' top-line wingers continue to show chemistry. Jarvis is now at 61 points (30 goals), 188 shots on net, 90 hits, 48 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating across 68 appearances. He'll have seven more games, at most, to try to match his career highs of 33 goals and 67 points, which he set last season.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Pots goal No. 30
Jarvis pocketed a goal and an assist, both on the power play, in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Capitals.
The Hurricanes scored three times with the man advantage on the night, and Jarvis got his share of the production with his 30th goal of the season in the first period, and the only helper on a Jackson Blake tally in the third. Jarvis has scored at least 30 goals in two straight seasons, and he still has a shot at tying his career highs, or establishing new ones, in both goals and points. After racking up 33 goals and 67 points in 2023-24, the 23-year-old has 30 goals and 60 points this season with eight games left on Carolina's regular-season schedule.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Scores twice Sunday
Jarvis scored two goals, including one while shorthanded, on six shots in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Islanders.
Jarvis has gotten on the scoresheet in 10 of the last 11 games, and his last two outings have been multi-point efforts. The 23-year-old is up to 29 tallies, 58 points, 177 shots on net, 88 hits, 48 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating through 66 contests. He continues to shine as an all-situations player -- he's earned 16 power-play points and seven shorthanded points this season.
