Rangers' J.T. Miller: Two apples in win
Miller provided two assists, had five hits and took two shots on net in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Golden Knights.
Both of Miller's assists were in the third period when he helped linemates Mika Zibanejad and Artemi Panarin tally goals. The Rangers' new center has multi-point performances in both appearances since his return to the franchise. The 31-year-old has 11 goals, 28 assists, 90 shots on net and 100 hits in 42 appearances this season. Miller has exhibited early signs of chemistry with the rest of New York's top line as all three forwards have four points in the last two games. His situation has improved with the trade away from Vancouver as the Rangers make a push towards the playoffs. Miller is in a strong spot to produce at the elite-level pace we saw from his career-best 103-point season a year ago.

Rangers' J.T. Miller: Strikes twice in return to New York
Miller scored two goals, one on the power play, in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Bruins.
Acquired from the Canucks on Friday in a blockbuster trade, Miller immediately looked comfortable in his return to the team that employed him for the first five-plus seasons of his NHL career. There will likely be some juggling as coach Peter Laviolette determines the 31-year-old center's best fit in the top six alongside the likes of Artemi Panarin, Mika Zibanejad and Chris Kreider, but Miller should be locked in on a talented first power-play unit. He was already heating up in Vancouver prior to the trade, and over his last seven games, Miller has racked up three goals and eight points.

Rangers' J.T. Miller: Dealt to Blueshirts
Miller was traded to the Rangers from the Canucks on Friday, along with Erik Brannstrom and Jackson Dorrington, in exchange for Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini and a protected first-round draft pick, per Larry Brooks of the New York Post and Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
Miller is the headliner of the trade, and he will reunite with the team that drafted him 15th overall in 2011. The Canucks had been backed into a corner with Miller unable to coexist with Elias Pettersson anymore, and the Rangers clearly wanted to upgrade their forward depth, which is accomplished in this deal despite a somewhat steep price. It's expected Miller will be able to get from Dallas -- where the Canucks were scheduled to play Friday -- to Boston ahead of Saturday's 3:30 p.m. Eastern start time for the Rangers' game against the Bruins. Miller has nine goals and 35 points over 40 appearances this season.

Canucks' J.T. Miller: Will not play ahead of trade
Miller will be scratched Friday versus the Stars for trade-related reasons, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Miller's name has been in trade talks for weeks, but there is enough traction now to sit him out. Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports Miller has been asked to waive his no-trade clause and will do so to clear a move to the Rangers. The return is not yet known, but it will be a reunion for Miller and the Rangers after he played parts of his first six NHL seasons with the franchise.

Canucks' J.T. Miller: Pair of power-play assists in win
Miller recorded two power-play assists, logged two PIM and won 18 of 23 faceoffs in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Oilers.
This performance ended a five-game point drought for Miller. There was some doubt as to whether the 31-year-old would suit up Saturday -- Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK reported earlier in the day that trade talk involving Miller has ramped up, though the forward has yet to be asked to waive his no-movement clause. Miller has eight goals, 23 assists, 68 shots on net, 78 hits, 30 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 35 appearances. The Canucks' middling season has had an impact on Miller's production, and he could benefit from a change of scenery if a good trade fit arrives.

For the season, the 31-year-old center has six goals, 19 helpers, 50 shots, 59 hits, 24 PIM and a minus-2 rating through 27 appearances in a top-six role.

He now has six goals, 15 assists, seven power-play points, 43 shots on net, 54 hits and a minus-1 rating through 24 appearances this season. Canucks' J.T. Miller: Generates assist
Miller notched an assist and went minus-2 in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Senators.
Miller helped out on a Quinn Hughes tally late in the first period. The 31-year-old Miller has four helpers over his last six games and continues to see top-six minutes, though not at the same volume as in previous seasons. He's contributed six goals, 14 assists, 39 shots on net, 49 hits and a minus-1 rating through 23 appearances, and he's not blocking a lot of shots after logging at least 50 blocks in three straight campaigns. Miller still has all-around appeal in fantasy, but his recent struggles make him a buy-low target.

Canucks' J.T. Miller: Two helpers in return
Miller logged two assists in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Panthers.
Miller took a personal leave and was out for the previous 10 games. The 31-year-old logged a modest 14:17 of ice time Thursday, though many of the Canucks' top players saw fewer minutes in the lopsided win. This was Miller's sixth multi-point effort of the campaign. He has six goals, 12 helpers, six power-play points, 35 shots on net, 31 hits and a plus-2 rating over 18 appearances. Fantasy managers shouldn't hesitate to activate the center.

Canucks' J.T. Miller: Set to return Thursday
Miller (personal) will return to the Canucks' lineup Thursday versus Florida, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.
Miller didn't participate in Vancouver's previous 10 games. He has six goals and 16 points in 17 outings in 2024-25. Now that Miller is back, he should serve in a top-six capacity and on the first power-play unit. Pius Suter might see a reduction in his ice time as a result.

Miller (personal) skated with the Canucks on Tuesday but won't be in the lineup against the Blues, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.
