Browns' Mohamoud Diabate: Exits Week 1 with hip injury
Diabate won't return to Sunday's game against Dallas after suffering a hip injury, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.
Diabate was ruled out in the middle of the third quarter. Prior to his exit, the linebacker notched two tackles (one solo). Diabate's status for next Sunday's matchup with Jacksonville should become clearer during the practice week.

Browns' Mohamoud Diabate: Healthy for postseason
Diabate (thumb) did not appear on the Browns' injury report Tuesday.
Diabate suffered a thumb injury in Sunday's loss to the Bengals, but he now looks healthy heading into the playoffs. The 22-year-old will be back in his role as a primary reserve option at weakside linebacker behind Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah in Saturday's matchup with the Texans in the wild-card round.

Diabate (thumb) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Bengals, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Diabate had one tackle in Sunday's game before exiting with the thumb injury. He got extended playing time at weakside linebacker ahead of Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah with the Browns locked into the fifth seed of the AFC.

Browns' Mohamoud Diabate: Improves roster chances
Diabate had a team-high seven tackles, including one for a loss that became a safety, and forced a fumble in Thursday's preseason game against the Eagles.
Diabate, an undrafted free-agent linebacker, has impressed during practice and earned some run on the first special teams unit in last week's preseason game. On Thursday, when the Browns sat several regulars, Diabate was a disruptive force as the starting middle linebacker. He's a long shot to make the 53-man roster, but his chances are better than they were when training camp started.
