Raiders' Alex Cappa: Plays in preseason finale
Cappa (rib) was active for Saturday's 20-10 preseason loss to the Cardinals.
Cappa returned to action for the first time during the preseason, playing 12 offensive snaps in the contest. The offensive guard appears to have moved past his rib injury, and he's all set to operate as a top reserve option with Las Vegas in 2025.

Raiders' Alex Cappa: Battling rib injury
Cappa (rib) did not practice Sunday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
Cappa didn't play in Thursday's preseason opener against the Seahawks. Coach Pete Carroll said Sunday that it's not believed to be a long-term issue for the veteran guard, according to Tashan Reed of The Athletic. Cappa is in the mix to open the season as a starter on the interior of Las Vegas' offensive line.

Raiders' Alex Cappa: Lands in Las Vegas
Cappa agreed to a two-year, $11 million deal with the Raiders on Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Cappa didn't take long to find a new home after being released by the Bengals on Monday. During his three-year run in Cincinnati, Cappa started at right guard in all 50 of his appearances and drew just six total penalties. He'll be a strong candidate to open the 2025 season as a starter with Las Vegas.

Alex Cappa: Dropped by Cincinnati
The Bengals released Cappa on Monday.
The veteran from Humboldt State has been one of Cincinnati's top offensive linemen since signing with the team in 2022, starting all 50 regular-season games he appeared in. Cappa was likely a cap casualty, as the Bengals are expected to try and retain several key free agents this offseason, including B.J. Hill, Trent Brown and Mike Hilton. The 30-year-old offensive lineman is expected to be a sought-after player on the free-agent market.
