Browns' Sam Kamara: Career year in 2024
Kamara accumulated 15 total tackles over 11 games in 2024.
The fourth-year pro from Stony Brook had the most productive season of his career in 2024, setting new career highs in total tackles, games played and defensive snaps (262). His lone start came in Cleveland's Week 18 loss to the Ravens, when he recorded six total tackles while playing 87 percent of the team's defensive snaps. Kamara, who's under contract through the 2025 season, is expected to remain one of the Browns' top reserve defensive linemen next year.

Browns' Sam Kamara: Slated to return Week 15
Kamara (concussion) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's clash with the Chiefs, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Kamara missed each of Cleveland's past two contests due to a concussion and logged an LP/LP/FP practice progression this week. With no designation on Friday's injury report, the defensive end is good to go Sunday against Kansas City. Kamara has been a rotational player for the Browns this season and has accumulated five tackles (three solo) through seven games.

Kamara has missed the team's past two games due to a concussion but managed to return to practice Wednesday. However, the 26-year-old will still have to clear the league's concussion protocol in order to be able to play Sunday versus Kansas City.

Kamara (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
Kamara will be sidelined for a second straight game due to a concussion. He'll have to clear the league's five-step concussion protocol in order to return for Week 15 against Kansas City on Sunday, Dec. 15. With Kamara sidelined for Sunday's AFC North clash, Ogbonnia Okoronkwo will serve as the Browns' top rotational defensive end behind starters Isaiah McGuire and Myles Garrett.

The ERFA tender is for players with two or fewer accrued seasons in the NFL. Kamara has played in three games and on 79 defensive snaps with Cleveland over the last two campaigns.

The Bears activated Kamara (undisclosed) off the active/PUP list Friday, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
Kamara opened training camp on the active/PUP list, but his absence from practice lasted only a few days. The undrafted linebacker out of Stony Brook appeared in eight games for the Bears last season and totaled 10 tackles and one pass deflection across 105 defensive snaps.
