Jeff Gladney: Passes away at age 25
Gladney, who was in an overnight car accident in the Dallas area, has passed away at the age of 25, Adam Schefter of ESPN and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported Monday.
Gladney was a first-round selection of the Vikings in 2020 NFL Draft following his collegiate career at TCU. The cornerback had signed a two-year deal with the Cardinals in March.

Cardinals' Jeff Gladney: Signs with Cardinals
Gladney signed a two-year contract with the Cardinals on Wednesday.
Gladney was waived by the Vikings in August after he was indicted on charges of felony assault, but after a jury found him not guilty last week, he'll look to reboot his career in the desert. The 25-year-old could still face a suspension from the league, but he'll compete for a role in Arizona's secondary ahead of the 2022 campaign.

Jeff Gladney: Cut by Vikings
The Vikings have waived Gladney.
In a statement posted Tuesday, the team noted "following our review of today's indictment against Jeff Gladney, we have decided to release Jeff immediately. As we have previously said, we take these matters very seriously and condemn all forms of domestic violence. Due to the ongoing legal nature of this matter, we are unable to provide further comment." Per ESPN.com, Gladney, whom the Vikings selected 31st overall in the 2020 NFL Draft, has been indicted by a Texas grand jury for felony assault of a woman he was previously in a relationship with.
