Cowboys' Justin Hamilton: Bumped up from practice squad
The Cowboys signed Hamilton to the active roster Saturday, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning Newss reports.
Hamilton has made three appearances for the Cowboys this season, most recently Week 8 against Minnesota. In that game, he produced three tackles on 46 percent of the snaps and will try to at least repeat that production Sunday against the Broncos.

Cowboys' Justin Hamilton: Joins active roster
The Cowboys elevated Hamilton from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Monday's game against the Eagles, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Hamilton recorded 10 tackles (three solo) across 10 appearances with the Cowboys in 2020, and he's in line to make his season debut Monday. He should serve as depth on the defensive line with Carlos Watkins (knee) unavailable against Philadelphia.

Cowboys' Justin Hamilton: Activated from COVID list
Hamilton (undisclosed) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
The 27-year-old landed on the COVID list ahead of Week 17, but he's now cleared the NFL protocols. Hamilton appeared in 10 games for the Cowboys in 2020 and had 10 tackles (seven solo).

Cowboys' Justin Hamilton: Out for Week 17
Hamilton was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Hamilton won't be available for Sunday's game against the Giants. The 27-year-old defensive end has averaged 23.6 snaps per game this season, so his absence will hurt the team's depth on the defensive front. If he tested positive for the virus, there's a good chance he won't be available for a potential first-round playoff game.

Hamilton was signed to Dallas' active roster Wednesday, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Standing 6-foot-2 and weighing 315 pounds, Hamilton's size made the decision to sign him an easy one, according to coach Jason Garrett. The 26-year-old has yet to play a down this season but will be relied upon to provide depth along Dallas' defensive line. However, until we see exactly how the Cowboys plan to use Hamilton in a game situation, he is not worth owning in IDP formats.

Hamilton did not record a defensive statistic across four games with the Chiefs last season. The 25-year-old will hope to stick on the back end of the 53-man roster as a depth piece on the defensive line.

The Eagles promoted Hamilton from the practice squad to their active roster Saturday.
Hamilton, a second year defensive tackle out of Louisiana-Lafayette, is set to make his NFL debut Sunday against the Chargers. The Eagles are thin on the line with Fletcher Cox and Destiny Vaeao already ruled out, so Hamilton figures to see some rotational reps depending on game flow.
