Kristjan Sokoli: Enters open market
The Giants declined to tender Sokoli a contract for 2019, making him an unrestricted free agent, SportsNet New York reports.
Sokoli spent the 2018 campaign on injured reserve after sustaining a knee injury in the preseason. Now presumably healthy as he enters free agency, the 26-year-old will look to win a reserve offensive line job with another organization this summer.

Giants' Kristjan Sokoli: Dealing with knee injury
Sokoli suffered a knee injury during Thursday's preseason game against the Browns, Ryan Dunleavy of NJ.com reports.
Sokoli played only three defensive snaps prior to sustaining the injury. The 26-year-old could also serve as an interior offensive lineman, but his likeliest path to a roster spot remains as a reserve defensive lineman.

Sokoli's knee injury suffered in Thursday's preseason game appears to be a serious one, forcing him to miss the remainder of the season. With the open roster spot, the Giants are expected to re-sign defensive back Mike Jones.
