DB Alterraun Verner plans to watch film on some of the former nickel backs in DC Jerry Gray's systems with the Redskins and Bills as he prepares to move inside. Ex-Bills DB Pierson Prioleau could be a player Verner looks to emulate. While playing nickel in 2002, Prioleau recorded 89 tackles. Former Redskins CB Fred Smoot (22 tackles in 2009) was less successful.
