The Rams began OTAs on Tuesday and had 81 of 88 players at Wednesday’s practice. Seven rookies were missing. Three draft picks -- WR Brian Quick, WR Chris Givens and RB Isaiah Pead -- were at the NFLPA’s Rookie Premiere in Los Angeles. Pead (Cincinnati) wouldn’t be allowed to practice anyway because of the NFL’s graduation rule, which also prevented P John Hekker (Oregon), RB Nick Schweiger (Dartmouth) and TE Cory Harkey (UCLA) from being at Rams Park. LB Derrick Choice, an undrafted rookie from Stephen F. Austin, left the team to pursue a non-football career.
