The Saints were already pretty light at defensive end and now will search to fill DE Will Smith's spot when he serves his four-game suspension for his role in the bounty scandal. DE Junior Galette is the most likely candidate as of right now to fill Smith's starting role opposite Cam Jordan. Turk McBride is another possible option, as well as Greg Romeus who is returning after missing all of last year recovering from a torn ACL.
