RB Mike Goodson has made a strong impression on coach Dennis Allen during OTAs as he competes for the job to be Darren McFadden’s backup. “Good athlete,” Allen said of Goodson, acquired from Carolina in a trade for OL Bruce Campbell. “Has some speed, some running skill. I’ve been really impressed with him. From the mental standpoint he’s done a nice job. Obviously, I think there’s something to work with with him.”
