The Lions haven't played a game in the Pontiac Silverdome since 2001. But that doesn't mean the Silverdome has been forgotten. Actually, you might have forgotten about it, but that doesn't mean the stadium doesn't exist. It, in fact, does.

And recently a number of photographers, including a man named Johnny Joo, toured the structure and came away with some amazing photos.

You can look at Joo's Flickr album here and see just how decrepit the Silverdome has become. For example, you remember that the stadium originally had a roof? Yeah, that's gone now.

As ABC11.com points out, "The stadium was auctioned off in 2009 for $583,000 and now sits completely abandoned, with its facilities becoming increasingly worn due to severe weather and lack of maintenance. Joo's photos capture the stadium with moss growing on luxury seating boxes and ceiling panels rotting on the floor."

In May, you could have bought just about anything from the Silverdome in an auction. Clearly, there are still plenty of treasures to pick over if you were in a foraging mood.

If not, take a look at the rest of Joo's images, because, they're pretty damn cool.
