The Giants got a few more bodies back at practice on Friday, but may have lost one in the shuffle.

CB Jayron Hosley (quad) rode the exercise bike one day after being added to the practice report. His absence is significant because defensive coordinator Perry Fewell said the rookie would start on Sunday against the Eagles if CB Prince Amukamara (hamstring) can't play.

In an odd twist, Amukamara -- who had yet to practice this week -- was active on Friday.

Amukamara aggravated the hamstring injury in Sunday’s loss to the Ravens and said on Thursday he was unsure if he’d be able to play against the Eagles.

C David Baas (hip/shoulder) returned to practice on Friday, while RB Ahmad Bradshaw (knee/foot), WR Hakeem Nicks (knee), S Kenny Phillips (knee), RG Chris Snee (hip), DE Justin Tuck and S Tyler Sash were all active again.

As long as Baas and Snee don’t suffer a setback, the offensive line should be intact on Sunday.

DT Chris Canty (knee) missed his third consecutive practice.
