DT Jermelle Cudjo said the new defense allows the interior linemen to penetrate the backfield and attack instead of reacting. “It’s uptempo and we’re all buying in and on the same page,” Cudjo said. “It’s going to be a good year. We don’t have to do much reading, just hit and play football.”
