A league source tells CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora that the Dolphins will continue paying Martin's full salary, but per NFL guidelines, Martin can not return this season.
Meanwhile, Dolphins offensive guard Richie Incognito, who had been suspended indefinitely for his alleged role in bullying Martin, will continue to be paid, according to the NFL Network.
Furthermore, in exchange for allowing the suspension to continue for six weeks total, Incognito was actually paid for two of the original four weeks he had already been suspended, reported FOXSports.com.
Incognito had filed a grievance earlier this month, but it was postponed while Ted Wells, the league-appointed attorney heading up an investigation into the Dolphins' locker room culture, met with the team's staff, players and coaches.
