Within the span of two plays, Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray and receiver Dez Bryant broke team records. And Dallas' surprisingly fantastic season continues.

Late in the first quarter, Murray ripped off a 32-yard run, giving him 1,798 yards on the season. That broke Emmitt Smith's mark of 1,773 yards from 1995. You can see the record-breaker here.

Perhaps almost as impressively, this is what Murray did on the play before, trying to use his broken hand to keep himself from taking a knee on the turf.

Here's what Smith had to say after his record had been broken.

One play after Murray's record-breaking run, Tony Romo hit Bryant for his second touchdown catch of the day. And it happens to be No. 16 of the season, breaking the record once held by Terrell Owens.

It was impressive, to say the least.
