The Chargers worked on the wildcat offense Wednesday. Despite the recent addition of RB Ronnie Brown, it is unlikely the wildcat will become a staple of the offense. Coach Norv Turner has spent some time on the wildcat for the past three years to insure the defense can identify and properly react to it in a game situation. “That’s really why we do it,” Turner said. Turner, however, went on to point out the wildcat has generated a few big plays for the offense. “If we feel that it is going to give us an advantage we are going to run it.”
