T Jermon Bushrod said losing a friend and an All-Pro like G Carl Nicks is a tough, as Nicks left for a lucrative deal with the Bucs when free agency opened. Bushrod added, though, that adding G Ben Grubbs was the best the Saints could have done considering the circumstances. Bushrod and Grubbs trained together leading to the 2007 draft and caught up again at this year’s Pro Bowl.
