The Chargers were virtually without a viable SS before signing SS Atari Bigby (Seattle) to a two-year contract on Friday. Steve Gregory had already signed with the Patriots and free agents Paul Oliver and Bob Sanders will likely not be back. Bigby, however, has only two starts with no INTs in the past two seasons. San Diego will likely look to add a starting SS through the draft or free agency.
