Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Sitting out Thursday
Clarkson is out for Thursday's game versus the Clippers due to left foot Plantar Fasciitis injury management.
Clarkson will sit out the second leg of Utah's back-to-back Thursday due to left foot Plantar Fasciitis. With Collin Sexton (ankle) still out, Keyonte George will likely receive increased playing time. Clarkson should be able to return to action against the Thunder on Feb. 21.

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Teases triple-double in win
Clarkson provided 21 points (7-17 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-8 FT), nine rebounds and seven assists across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 131-119 win over the Lakers.
While it was a little bit surprising Clarkson wasn't dealt at the trade deadline, the veteran guard has been giving the Jazz valuable minutes in February. He's started four of the last five games while Collin Sexton (ankle) has been sidelined, and over that stretch Clarkson has averaged 23.0 points, 4.8 assists, 4.3 boards and 4.3 threes in 31.3 minutes a contest while shooting 45.9 percent from beyond the arc.

The veteran swingman received the starting nod with Lauri Markkanen (back) sidelined, logging a team-high 24 points in the loss. Clarkson also sank a season-high six triples, and he has recorded 14 outings with three or more three-pointers. The 32-year-old has supplied 16 or more points in each of his last five outings (two starts), during which he has averaged 21.6 points, 3.2 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals across 29.6 minutes per contest.

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Ruled out Friday
Clarkson (foot) has been ruled out for Friday's contest against Phoenix.
Clarkson is likely sitting out Friday because the Jazz have a back-to-back through Saturday, and the team is slowly easing him back in his return from a 10-game absence due to his foot injury. With Collin Sexton (ankle) also out, expect Johnny Juzang to see a larger role until either Sexton or Clarkson returns.

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Season-high 31 points in win
Clarkson racked up 31 points (10-19 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds and five assists over 33 minutes during Wednesday's 131-128 win over the Warriors.
Clarkson made his fourth start of the season in place of the injured Collin Sexton (ankle) on Wednesday, making an immediate impact with a season-high 31 points. As a starter this season, Clarkson has averaged 18.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.8 threes in 21.5 minutes. The veteran combo guard should see a bump in usage if the move to Utah's first unit sticks going forward, potentially bolstering his fantasy value while Sexton is sidelined.

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Pops for 21 in Monday's loss
Clarkson registered 21 points (8-17 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal in 35 minutes off the bench during Monday's 112-111 loss to Indiana.
The veteran guard played more than 25 minutes for the first time in four appearances since returning from a foot issue that cost Clarkson most of January. He turned the increased workload into his best scoring effort since he hung 25 points on the Knicks on Jan. 1. Collin Sexton sprained his ankle early Monday and never returned to the court, but it's not clear yet if Utah will shift Clarkson into the starting five should Sexton face a prolonged absence, or if he'll continue to anchor the second unit.

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Available Thursday
Clarkson (foot) is absent from Utah's injury report ahead of Thursday's game against the Timberwolves.
Clarkson sat out the closing end of a back-to-back Tuesday due to left foot injury management and, as expected, he'll be good to face Minnesota. Considering he had missed 10 consecutive games before the back-to-back set, expect Clarkson to have his minutes monitored.

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Sitting out Tuesday
Clarkson is out for Tuesday's game against the Warriors due to left foot plantar fasciitis injury management, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
After returning from a 10-game absence in Monday's loss to the Bucks while playing 22 minutes, Clarkson will receive a breather for the second leg of Utah's back-to-back set. The Jazz will likely lean on Collin Sexton, Keyonte George and Isaiah Collier to cover the bulk of the minutes in the backcourt Tuesday.

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Drills four triples in return
Clarkson (foot) recorded 13 points (4-12 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five assists and three rebounds in 22 minutes off the bench Monday in the Jazz's 125-110 loss to the Bucks.
After missing Utah's last 10 games due to plantar fasciitis in his left foot, Clarkson was cleared to play Monday and filled his familiar sixth-man role. The 32-year-old was sharp from downtown, but an 0-for-4 showing from two-point range took a bigger scoring night off the table. Monday's contest represented the front end of a back-to-back set for the Jazz, so Clarkson could be a candidate to sit for maintenance purposes Tuesday versus the Warriors.

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Upgraded to available
Clarkson (foot) will be available for Monday's game against the Bucks.
After 10 consecutive games on the shelf, Clarkson will shed his questionable tag and will be back in the rotation Monday. He could have restrictions, however, and the Jazz could hold him out Tuesday against the Warriors for injury management based on how they've operated as a franchise this season.

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Chance to return Monday
Clarkson (foot) has been upgraded to questionable for Monday's game against the Bucks, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Clarkson was diagnosed with a torn plantar fascia in his left foot Jan. 6, which has prevented him from playing in Utah's last 10 games. He appears to be progressing well enough in his recovery to be given the questionable tag for Monday's contest. Clarkson has played in 22 games (three starts) and is averaging 16.0 points, 3.8 assists and 3.4 rebounds over 25.5 minutes per contest.

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Out at least two weeks
Clarkson underwent an MRI on his left foot Monday which confirmed a torn plantar fascia, Sarah Todd of The Deseret News reports.
Clarkson played just three minutes against the Heat on Saturday before leaving due to a left foot injury, and the MRI on Monday confirmed the severity of the injury. Johnny Juzang, Isaiah Collier, Patty Mills and Brice Sensabaugh all have an opportunity to establish a larger role for themselves over the next two weeks while Clarkson is sidelined.

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Out Sunday
Clarkson (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Magic, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Clarkson lasted only a few minutes during Saturday's game against Miami before being ruled out due to left plantar fasciitis. It's not a surprise to see the veteran guard ruled out for the second half of Utah's back-to-back set, but it's unclear how long Clarkson will be sidelined. His next chance to suit up will come Tuesday against the Hawks. In his absence, Isaiah Collier and Johnny Juzang are candidates for increased roles, especially if Keyonte George (heel) is also ruled out.

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Won't return Saturday
Clarkson won't return to Saturday's game against Miami due to left plantar fasciitis, Sarah Todd of The Deseret News reports. He finished with two points and one assist in three minutes.
Clarkson logged just a few minutes before leaving the game for good. Saturday's game is the front end of a back-to-back set, and this news doesn't bode well for Clarkson's status Sunday against Orlando. Johnny Juzang and Isaiah Collier could see an uptick in minutes in the meantime.

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Goes for 24 points Monday
Clarkson racked up 24 points (7-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one steal across 28 minutes during Monday's 132-121 loss to the Nuggets.
Clarkson returned to the bench after starting in the loss to the 76ers on Saturday, and he delivered another 20-point performance. Since returning from a seven-game absence due to plantar fasciitis, Clarkson has been nothing short of excellent. He's reached the 20-point mark in four of his last seven contests, averaging 18.6 points, 4.6 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game despite coming off the bench in all but one of those contests.

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Retreating to bench Monday
Clarkson is not in the Jazz's starting lineup for Monday's game against the Nuggets.
Clarkson started in Saturday's 114-111 loss to the 76ers and finished with 17 points, four assists, three rebounds and one block over 30 minutes. He will return to the bench for Monday's contest while Johnny Juzang enters the Jazz's starting five.

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Returns to action with 17 points
Clarkson finished with 17 points (7-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one block over 30 minutes during Saturday's 114-111 loss to Philadelphia.
Clarkson found his way off the injury report and logged a start in place of Keyonte George (ankle), who remains out with an ankle injury. Clarkson's skill and vast experience make him an obvious start over Isaiah Collier, who is a talented rookie but is still developing. Clarkson will log quality minutes as George works himself back to action, and the veteran will eventually revert to his sixth-man role with the team.
