  • Mets' Trey McLoughlin: Called up to Triple-A

McLoughlin was promoted to Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

McLoughlin will take the next step in his professional journey after he produced a 2.08 ERA and 1.13 WHIP with 35 strikeouts over 30.1 innings in 25 appearances with Double-A Binghamton this season. The 25-year-old will look to impress with Syracuse in order to potentially make his major-league debut down the road this year or in 2025.
