Braves' Matt Olson: Pushes hitting streak to nine games
Olson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 5-0 win over the Mets.
Olson blasted his 15th long ball of the season, pushing his hitting streak to nine games and his on-base streak to 25. During this latter period (110 plate appearances), the All-Star first baseman is slashing a healthy .271/.355/.542 with six big flies, eight doubles, 20 RBI and 16 runs scored. Olson has seen a considerable boost in RBI production since Ronald Acuna rejoined the lineup -- the former has collected 17 RBI over his last 23 games after recording just 28 across his first 49 outings without Acuna.

Olson went 3-for-4 with a double, three runs scored and three RBI in Friday's win over the Rockies.

Olson has also walked six times during the five-game stretch, and all four of the hits (two doubles and two homers) have gone for extra bases. He's up to 14 home runs, 39 RBI and an .817 OPS on the campaign.

Braves' Matt Olson: Homers in extra-inning loss
Olson went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run, two walks and a second run scored in Friday's 5-4 extra-inning loss to the Giants.
Olson's seventh-inning blast tied the game at 4-4 and ultimately was enough to force an extra frame. The first baseman hadn't gone deep since May 24 after a stretch of five homers in seven games. For the season, Olson is at a .239/.344/.465 slash line with 13 homers, 34 RBI, 37 runs scored and 13 doubles across 62 contests.

Braves' Matt Olson: Provides lone run in defeat
Olson went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Friday's 5-1 loss to Boston.
Olson tallied his 15th RBI of the month and his 30th of the season, and he remains a strong source of power despite a subpar batting average. Across 103 at-bats in May, the All-Star first baseman is hitting just .243 but has eight home runs, five doubles and 15 RBI. Olson entered Friday with an elite 18.7 percent barrel rate and 56.0 percent hard-hit rate in 2025, and he's begun to return to form in the slugging department following a slow start to the year in that area.

Braves' Matt Olson: Stays hot with two doubles
Olson went 2-for-3 with a walk, two doubles, a run scored and an RBI in Sunday's win over the Red Sox.
The first baseman has reeled off three straight multi-hit performances, with four of his seven hits during that stretch going for extra bases including homers Friday and Saturday. Those were Olson's multi-hit efforts in May however, as he began the month slashing .173/.254/.365 with a 35.6 percent strikeout rate in 14 games. Despite that cold spell, he has respectable power numbers on the year with nine homers and 25 RBI in 47 contests, and he's more than capable to stretching his current heater straight through into June.

Olson went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's loss to the Red Sox.
Olson helped Atlanta get off to a fast start, slugging a two-run shot to center field in the first inning. He added a pair of singles to finish with his second straight multi-hit effort. Olson had gone 15 games without multiple hits before collecting a pair of knocks Friday, and over his past two contests he's gone 5-for-9 to lift his season batting average 18 points (from .214 to .232).

Braves' Matt Olson: Rare multi-hit game Friday
Olson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-2 win over Boston.
It was the first multi-hit game of the month for Olson, who did go deep for the fourth time in May. The All-Star first baseman has only four multi-hit efforts in 2025, and he's batting a mere .196 with seven RBI and seven runs scored over his last 56 at-bats. Olson is ninth in the National League in walks (29), however, and he figures to see a boost in RBI upside once Ronald Acuna (knee) is ready to make his season debut.
