  • Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez: Crushes grand slam in win

Suarez went 3-for-4 with a grand slam in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Mariners. Suarez notched his first three-hit performance since May 25, highlighted by what proved to be a game-winning grand slam in the sixth inning. The third baseman has opened June on a power surge, going deep four times with two doubles through the first 10 games of the month. On the year, he's slashing .233/.305/.514 with 19 home runs, 52 RBI, 41 runs scored and one steal across 279 plate appearances.

Suarez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 13-1 loss to Cincinnati. Suarez supplied the Diamondbacks' only run in Saturday's blowout with a solo home run off Nick Martinez in the second inning. It was Suarez's 17th home run of the season, which is tied with Pete Crow-Armstrong for fourth most in the National League. Suarez is slashing .233/.309/.509 with one steal, 13 doubles and 47 RBI across 262 plate appearances this season.

  • Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez: Completes comeback

Suarez went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double and two RBI in Thursday's 11-10 win over Atlanta. Suarez's two-run double in the ninth inning was the game-winning hit, completing a stunning seven-run comeback rally. The third baseman's bat has woken up since May 12, when his batting average stood at .200. Since then, he's gone 22-for-74 (.297) with six doubles, four home runs and 19 RBI over 20 contests. He's still batting only .232, but Suarez's 16 home runs and team-high 46 RBI are hard for fantasy GMs to ignore.

His long ball Monday, which stretched Arizona's lead to 3-0 in the third inning, was his 15th homer of the year. He's added a .232/.315/.515 slash line, 41 RBI, 34 runs scored, 10 doubles and a stolen base over 54 contests, numbers that are largely in line with his usual rate of production.

Suarez went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's loss to St. Louis. Suarez gave Arizona an early lead with his two-run single in the first inning. He later doubled and scored a run in the sixth. It was his first game with at least three hits since belting four homers against Atlanta on April 26. Suarez has produced four multi-hit performances over his last 10 games, going 13-for-38 (.342) in the process. The veteran third baseman has racked up three RBI in each of his past three contests and now has driven in 37 runs this season, tied for fourth most in the majors. It was the second straight game with three RBI for Suarez, who has three home runs and 11 RBI over the last seven contests. • Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez: Drives in two

Suarez went 2-for-4 with two RBI in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Mets. Since homering four times (five RBI) in a game last week, Suarez entered Monday in a 4-for-28 (.143) funk with one RBI over the subsequent seven games. That's been the story of his season -- a spasm of production followed by slumps. Seventeen of his 23 RBI were produced in just four contests. Suarez has spent most of the season below the Mendoza Line and is batting .198 over 35 games.

  • Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez: Posts 19th four-homer game in history

Suarez went 4-for-4 with four home runs and five RBI in Saturday's 8-7 extra-inning loss to Atlanta. Suarez became the 19th player in major-league history with a four-homer game, and the first to do it since J.D. Martinez accomplished the feat Sept. 4, 2017, also as a member of the Diamondbacks. Suarez is the third player to hit four homers in a loss, joining Philadelphia's Ed Delahanty in 1896 and Atlanta's Bob Horner in 1986. This was also the second-fewest RBI in a four-homer game, only one better than Seattle's Mike Cameron, who hit four solo shots versus the White Sox on May 2, 2002. Suarez completed the feat from the No. 6 spot in the lineup, but Arizona's 1-5 hitters went a combined 1-for-18 with five walks in front of him. The historic performance gave Suarez the major-league lead with 10 long balls this season. He's added 20 RBI, 17 runs scored and a stolen base but is batting just .202 over 27 contests this season. He has shown signs of improvement, hitting safely in six of the last eight games while going 9-for-27 (.333) in that span.

  • Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez: Productive night at plate in loss

Suarez went 1-for-2 with a double, two runs scored and two walks in Friday's loss to Atlanta. Suarez has really struggled recently, so it was encouraging to see him put together a productive outing at the plate. Over his last 14 contests, the slugging third baseman is hitting just .180 (9-for-50) with one home run, three doubles, four RBI and six runs scored. Suarez, who entered Friday's action with an elite 58.6 percent hard-hit rate, hit five homers over his first five games of the campaign, which presents a glimpse of the type of power upside he offers in fantasy leagues in spite of his recent slump.

  • Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez: Receiving first day off

Suarez is not in the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Cubs. It's the first day off of the season for Suarez, who has six home runs and six RBI through 21 games but is batting just .145 with a 33.3 percent strikeout rate. Garrett Hampson is starting at third base Sunday while Tim Tawa mans the keystone.

The slugging third baseman now has five hits, all homers, this season. Suarez's 11 RBI are tied for the league lead with Aaron Judge and Kyle Tucker.

Suarez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk Saturday in a 4-3 loss to the Cubs. Suarez set off an Arizona rally in the ninth inning with a two-run blast off Cubs closer Ryan Pressly. The veteran third baseman has now homered in each of Arizona's first three games of the campaign, belting four long balls and racking up seven RBI in that span. Suarez's red-hot start is a stark contrast to his early-season struggles last year -- he had just six homers and a .196 batting average through the end of June in his first campaign with the Diamondbacks in 2024.

Both long balls came off Jameson Taillon, as Suarez belted a two-run homer to left-center field in the second inning and then did it again to almost the exact same spot in the fourth, with the total distance of the blasts coming in at 854 feet. Suarez has gone yard three times in Arizona's first two games, giving him an early jump on putting together his sixth career 30-homer campaign.

  • Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez: Slugs homer in loss

Suarez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Thursday's 10-6 loss to the Cubs. Suarez got all of a Justin Steele changeup in the bottom of the second inning to pull the Diamondbacks within a run. He was later hit by a pitch and scored on a sacrifice fly. The third baseman is looking to avoid a season-starting slump like the one that nearly cost Suarez his starting job last year, although he wound up putting together his best numbers since 2019 once he got going.

  • Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez: Crushes homer Saturday

Suarez went 1-for-2 with a walk, a home run and three RBI in Saturday's spring game against Colorado. Suarez made the Rockies pay for botching a potential inning-ending double-play. He launched a 2-0 fastball 444 feet into the seats in left field for his first Cactus League homer. Suarez is building off a strong second half of 2024, when he had a .974 OPS and 24 home runs from July forward, following a first-half slump that nearly cost him his starting job.
