After bashing three home runs on Monday, Tigers outfielder Kerry Carpenter now has 13 on the season and the 27-year-old has established himself as an anchor in Detroit's first-place lineup. Carpenter has one other multi-homer game this season (Apr. 4 against the White Sox) and followed it up with a home run in the following game. He's also homered in back-to-back games on 10 other occasions in his career, so he's known to hit home runs in bunches. However, you can still find Carpenter listed at +430 in the latest MLB home run odds as the Tigers face the White Sox in a game with an over/under of 8.5, and you can enhance that payout even further with FanDuel Dinger Tuesday profit boosts and the latest FanDuel promo code.

Best MLB home run picks for Tuesday, June 3:

Kerry Carpenter, Tigers (+430)

After being primarily used as a platoon player against right-handed pitching over the first three seasons of his career, Carpenter has earned a more regular role in Detroit and he's continued to take advantage. He's still at his best against right-handed pitchng and he'll match up with a righty on Tuesday, and you're getting tremendous value on this line from FanDuel.

"Carpenter mashed three home runs in yesterday's game, and you can still get +430 on FanDuel for him to homer today while his consensus line is +318," SportsLine data analyst Jacob Fetner said. "White Sox starting pitcher Shane Smith has been their best starter, but he has struggled with his pitch location and has been unable to go deep into games. After allowing just one HR in his first eight starts, Smith has allowed one HR in each of his last three starts."

Taylor Ward, Angels (+480)

Ward hit a career-high 25 home runs last season and he's well on his way to eclipsing that number in 2025 despite the fact that he's hitting just .218. There's been more swing-and-miss in his game (27.3% strikeout rate) than in the past, but his 38.3% flyball rate is a career-high and getting the ball into the air more regularly has helped him drive the ball out of the park. The splits also look favorable for a matchup with the Red Sox tonight.

"Ward likes playing away from Los Angeles. He is hitting just .151 with 4 HRs at home this season, but he is hitting .265 with 12 HRs on the road," Fetner said. "Ward has hit 14 of his 16 HRs this season against RHPs." The model sets the line for Ward to homer at +440, so FanDuel is offering solid value here.

Jac Caglianone, Royals (+460)

The No. 6 overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft was a consensus top-100 prospect to begin the season and he's rapidly progressed through the Kansas City farm system after hitting 68 home runs in his final two seasons at the University of Florida. In 79 minor league games since last year's draft, he has an .875 OPS with 17 home runs and 70 RBI.

"Caglianone is making his MLB debut today after hitting 15 HRs in 50 minor league games so far this season," Fetner said. "While it will likely take some time to adjust to MLB pitching, 'Cags' hit .500 with three HRs in 18 spring training at bats." This is an incredibly well-regarded prospect with enormous power and Fetner notes that you likely won't see this price again in a lefty vs. righty matchup featuring Caglianone.
