Tim Federowicz: Becomes free agent

Federowicz was outrighted to Triple-A Nashville on Monday and elected free agency.

Federowicz spent 29 games in the big leagues last season, slashing .160/.213/.347 with four homers and seven RBI. He'll be in search of a new club over the offseason after heading to the open market.
