Draft Scouting Report
Jalin Conyers is a powerful, stocky tight end with NFL size, long arms and reliable hands. Though primarily used as an outside receiver in a spread offense, he has the athleticism to stretch the seam and create after the catch with balance and power. A natural hands-catcher, he excels in contested situations and shows strong ball-tracking ability. As a blocker, his physicality and sturdy frame make him effective, particularly in lead blocks and pass protection. While not a refined route-runner, his combination of size, hands and physicality makes him a versatile TE/H-back option.

Jalin Conyers: Slated to join Dolphins
Conyers is expected to sign with Miami as an undrafted free agent, David Furones of the Sun Sentinel reports.
Conyers was productive during his lone season at Texas Tech, catching 30 passes for 320 yards and five touchdowns. He could have the chance compete for a backup tight end spot as the team currently lacks any proven talent behind Jonnu Smith.
