Summary
Antwaun Powell-Ryland is a compact, polished EDGE with above-average athleticism but limited length. He has plus burst and serious closing speed, maintaining acceleration through his rush. He’s a skilled technician with a deep pass-rush arsenal, including counters and an effective spin move. Speed-to-power conversion is outstanding, making him a problem in one-on-one matchups. He works well as a stand-up blitzer and can threaten inside but is unlikely to reduce down in the NFL. Lacks ideal size to hold up against the run and won’t win many battles purely on length. Overall, he is a stocky, flexible and highly refined pass-rusher built to disrupt the pocket.
