Live scores, highlights and updates from the Wyoming vs. Boise State football game
The Boise State Broncos and the Wyoming Cowboys are set to square off in a Mountain West matchup at 7 p.m. ET Nov. 19 at Jonah Field at War Memorial Stadium. If the nothing to nothing final from the last time they met is any indication, this matchup will be decided by the defense.
When you finish with 298 more yards than your opponent like Boise State did last week, a favorable outcome is almost sure to follow. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 41-3 victory over the Nevada Wolf Pack. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Broncos had established a 38-3 advantage. Their RB George Holani did his thing and rushed for two TDs and 115 yards on 17 carries.
Meanwhile, Wyoming won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Colorado State Rams 14-13. Wyoming QB Jayden Clemons did work as he passed for one TD and 90 yards on 11 attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 32 yards.
Boise State is the favorite in this one, with an expected 14-point margin of victory. Those playing the odds have seen things go back and forth with Boise State, who are 4-4 against the spread.
The wins brought Boise State up to 7-3 and the Cowboys to 7-3. Two defensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Broncos come into the game boasting the third fewest passing yards allowed per game in the nation at 156.9. As for Wyoming, they rank 13th in the nation when it comes to sacks, with 31 on the season.
