The No. 11 BYU Cougars are making the long road trip to Orlando for a Big 12 game against the UCF Knights on Saturday afternoon. BYU is still undefeated following a narrow escape against Oklahoma State last Friday, and UCF will get its shot at putting the first blemish on the record.
Last week's matchup against the Cowboys was a white-knuckle thriller for BYU, but it managed to pull out the win. The Cougars turned in a sloppy, three-turnover performance, but they managed to comeback and score the game-winning touchdown with just 10 seconds left in the fourth quarter.
BYU quarterback Jake Retzlaff completed just 50% of his passes while also throwing for a pair of interceptions. The Cougars also surrendered 421 yards to the Cowboys.
UCF, on the other hand, comes into this game completely reeling. The Knights have lost four straight games, although they turned in an admirable performance on the road against Iowa State last weekend. UCF was 30 seconds away from knocking off the No. 9 Cyclones until Rocco Becht went tumbling into the end zone for the game-winning touchdown.
If the Knights are going to hand BYU its first loss of the season, quarterback Jacurri Brown will have to use his legs as a weapon again after running for 154 yards and two scores against Iowa State last week.
