San Diego State vs. Hawaii updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the San Diego State vs. Hawaii football game
The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors need to shore up a defense that is allowing 45.4 points per game before their contest on Saturday. They will take on the San Diego State Aztecs at 10:30 p.m. ET at Snapdragon Stadium after a week off. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W.'
Two weeks ago, Hawaii lost to the New Mexico State Aggies on the road by a decisive 45-26 margin. The Rainbow Warriors were down 42-17 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. The losing side was boosted by QB Brayden Schager, who passed for one TD and 262 yards on 40 attempts in addition to punching in one rushing touchdown.
Meanwhile, things couldn't have gone much worse for San Diego State as they lost 35-13 to the Boise State Broncos last Friday. San Diego State was up 13 to nothing at the end of the half but couldn't hold on to the lead.
Hawaii have to know they'll be fighting an uphill battle given the 21.5-point spread they are up against. Those betting on them against the spread shouldn't have high expectations for them since the team is 0-3 ATS when expected to lose.
Hawaii is now 1-4 while the Aztecs sit at 2-2. The Rainbow Warriors are 1-2 after losses this year, San Diego State 2-0.
