Nevada vs. San Diego State updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Nevada vs. San Diego State football game
The San Diego State Aztecs have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. The Aztecs and the Nevada Wolf Pack will face off in a Mountain West battle at 10:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Clarence Mackay Stadium. San Diego State should still be feeling good after a win, while Nevada will be looking to regain their footing.
Two weeks ago, San Diego State narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors 16-14. San Diego State's only offensive touchdown came from S Jalen Mayden.
Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, which contributed ten. K Jack Browning booted in three field goals, the longest a 45-yarder in the second quarter, which ultimately accounted for the difference in the game.
Meanwhile, Nevada lost to the Rainbow Warriors on the road by a decisive 31-16 margin.
The Aztecs are the favorite in this one, with an expected 7-point margin of victory. But bettors beware: they are 0-2 against the spread when favored.
San Diego State came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wolf Pack when the two teams previously met in November of last year, sneaking past 23-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for San Diego State since the squad won't have home-field advantage. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
