Army West Point vs. Villanova: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Army West Point vs. Villanova football game
The Villanova Wildcats are staying on the road on Saturday to face off against the Army West Point Black Knights at noon ET Sept. 17 at Blaik Field at Michie Stadium. Villanova will be strutting in after a victory while Army will be stumbling in from a defeat.
The Wildcats didn't have too much trouble with the LIU-Post Sharks on the road last week as they won 38-21.
Meanwhile, the Black Knights fought the good fight in their overtime game against the UTSA Roadrunners last week but wound up with a less-than-desirable result, falling 41-38. The losing side was boosted by QB Tyhier Tyler, who passed for one TD and 77 yards on two attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 61 yards. Tyler's 77-yard touchdown toss to RB Ay'Jaun Marshall in the first quarter made for one of the most memorable moments of the day.
Army West Point's loss took them down to 0-2 while Villanova's win pulled them up to 2-0. We'll see if Army can steal Villanova's luck or if Villanova records another victory instead.
