Air Force vs. Baylor Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Thursday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Air Force vs. Baylor football game
The Air Force Falcons and the Baylor Bears will compete for holiday cheer in the Armed Forces Bowl on Thursday at Amon G. Carter Stadium at 7:30 p.m. ET. Air Force will be strutting in after a win while the Bears will be stumbling in from a loss.
The Falcons were able to grind out a solid victory over the San Diego State Aztecs three weeks ago, winning 13-3. It was another big night for Air Force's RB Brad Roberts, who rushed for one TD and 187 yards on 35 carries. Roberts' longest run was for 63 yards in the first quarter.
Meanwhile, Baylor came up short against the Texas Longhorns three weeks ago, falling 38-27. No one had a standout game offensively for Baylor, but they got scores from TE Ben Sims and WR Jaylen Ellis.
Air Force is expected to lose this next one by 4. Those who got lucky with them against the spread three weeks ago might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the team has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.
A couple offensive stats to keep an eye on: The Falcons enter the matchup with 330.9 rushing yards per game on average, which is the best in the nation. The Bears have displayed some offensive firepower of their own as they come into the contest boasting the eighth most rushing touchdowns in the nation at 34.
